“Believe in Yourself” is a Bad Advice

Here is why.

We all tend to conform to our preexisting beliefs.

And not all of them help us in improvement.

When you believe too much in yourself, you suffer from “Confirmation Bias,” which often is the cause behind bad decisions.

So what does this mean?

It means that we all like to hear “Yes, you are right.” more than we do “You might be wrong.”

Logically, you can’t be right all the time.

So if you want to make good decisions, search for truth in the right places.

Don’t seek opinions that conform to your views.

Try to seek ways in which you can be wrong.

But chances are, even after reading this post, you will do precisely the opposite. 🙃

People are still going to look for the truth in the wrong places.

Thanks to years of programming of our minds.
